Northside Friends "Baby" Welcoming took place on May 10, appropriately enough on Mother's Day. Friends gathered in our worship space after food and fellowship to celebrate our newest little ones, Pip (parents-Summer Sparacin and Eric Cormack) and Rafe (parents-Alli Boyaris and Daniel Lachemacher). Additionally, we welcomed Pip's older sibling, Henry, who never had a welcoming when they were younger. The Welcoming is a tradition that includes little ones and shepherds them into the community and life of Northside Friends Meeting.

Pip and Rafe received quilts with squares lovingly made by the hands of many Northsiders and tenderly stitched together by Willa. Friends shared messages while the children made joyful noises in our worship space. Much thanks to everyone on our Community Inreach Committee who made this happen.
