American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) invites Chicago area Friends from across Meetings to gather in a public place in silent worship with signs saying "Stronger with Immigrants." Starting in Chicago and a few other cities on 12/6, the intention is that in future months coordinated events will occur in dozens of cities with shared messaging that serves as a public witness of our Quaker values.
