“Decolonizing Our Activism: The 7th Fire – How to be a Good Ally” is a workshop presented by Sweetwater Nannauck, who is Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian.

In this interactive workshop, participantse will explore how working with Native Americans toward social and environmental justice involves letting go of and dismantling colonial cycles of oppression.

Sweetwater Nannauck is the Director of Idle No More Washington. Sweetwater is an Idle No More activist that advocates for the protection of the fragile environment of the Northwest Coast, for tribal sovereignty rights, and the traditional way of life of Native people.
