'The Voice of Hind Rajab' Movie at Siskel Center

The Ministry on Racism* (name change pending) is organizing a group of us to go to the showing of The Voice of Hind Rajab on Thursday, Jan 29th at 8:15 pm at the Siskel Film Center. The film tells the story of a 5-year old girl trapped in a car under fire in Gaza and won awards at the Venice Film Festival and Chicago International Film Festival.

If you'd like to join, please let me know and meet us there at the Siskel Film Center. I'll be heading over from Roger's Park and can organize a carpool for anyone who would like a ride to get there, let me know! You can buy the ticket either at the theater or using the link above.

As some context, we're organizing this movie showing as the first of a couple events in preparation to bring the Apartheid-Free Communities pledge back to Meeting for further discernment. If this topic is of interest to you or you have any questions, please reach out to Julie, Kyr, or Beth, or attend one of the upcoming events to learn more.
