Over the course of the summer, Northside Friends gathers just once to address whatever business has come before us in a Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business. Decisions are arrived at by communal discernment, a shared effort to find what’s known as “the sense of the meeting.” (Here is a link to Illinois Yearly Meeting’s handbook section on Decision Making.
