Setting Priorities for Friends Committee on National Legislation

Every two years, Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL), our Quaker lobby in Washington, DC, seeks input from Quaker communities across the United States in setting its legislative priorities for the coming Congress. Northside Friends’ Kevin Brubaker, who serves as our Meeting’s liaison to FCNL, will convene a meeting via Zoom on Monday, March 23, to provide this input.

The goal of this time together will be to provide 5 priorities – grounded in A World We Seek – to FCNL.  This is not intended as the official, formal position of Northside Friends, but rather the consensus of those who can join us Monday evening. (The current priorities can be found in this 2-page document.)

Join us via Zoom next Monday – March 23 – at 7:00 pm for this discussion.
