It is time to dust off your dictionaries, brush up on your two letter words, scheme with your prospective teammates, and study your expected opponents. August 15th, the Burbank/Esler household will be holding a night of food and friendly competition amongst those Quakers (and associated folks) willing to take on the task of learning and competing in some of the boardgames we have on hand. A shortlist of games you might see played includes: Wingspan, Blokus, Scrabble, Exploding Kittens, Poetry for Neanderthals, or Uno, and there are many more options available on the shelf. Feel free to bring one as well!

All are welcome, but we will be extending the invite to 57th St and Evanston directly, as we love to see them. While we will make some appetizers and provide some beverages, feel free to make or bring some of your own as led. Usually, we order pizza when a good number of folks arrive. Contributions to the pizza fund are welcome, but not expected. We will call the doors officially open at 5PM, pizza will be ordered around 6 pm, and as people show up and feel ready, groups can form and grab a board game of their choosing.
